Working Principle

MB-2000C EDM punching machine utilizes the principle of electric erosion to melt and corrode the metal section by generating electric sparks to achieve the purpose of perforating on the metal workpiece.

The device using brass electrode tube as a tool electrode, using high-pressure water to cool and slag the processing point.

It can process a deep hole between Φ0.5 and Φ3.0mm on a metal workpiece of any size and shape.

MB-2000C EDM Drilling Machine Application

1. Mainly used for processing deep holes on workpiece of various conductive materials, stainless steel, hardened steel, hard alloy, copper and aluminum.

2. A strong permanent magnet chuck is mounted on the bottom of the spindle head and it can attach on the workpiece.

   It can be processed directly from the slope and curved surface of the workpiece. The hole diameter ratio of the machined hole is up to 300：1.

3. MB-2000C Portable EDM Drilling Machine can also be used to remove broken drills, bits, taps, reamer, etc. and without damaging the original hole or thread of the workpiece.

4. Hole machining with positional accuracy is achieved by using the tooling device from other equipment original hole or thread of the workpiece
